Hey, Welcome back to the Rose Gazette! In Volume two, you'll be meeting Taylor Martin! Hope you all enjoy!!
Sedona- Here’s your water Taylor.
Taylor- Thank you. (Taylor urgently opens the bottle of water and drinks)
(Sedona giggles)- I take it you’re nervous?
Taylor- Is it obvious? (She giggles)
Sedona- kinda. But I promise it’s gonna be smooth. I’m not gonna go hard or anything like Rochelle does.
Taylor- Ugh, I can’t stand her ass.
Sedona- Same girl, so let’s get started. Tell my readers about you?
Taylor- Well, I’m Taylor Martin. I’m 23 years old, born and raised from Amethyst Falls. I graduated from Zhara State University with a double major in English & Public Relations with a minor in Communications. For all of your older readers, Jordin Martin is my sister and Cherish Mack (soon to be Roswell) is my God-sister!
Sedona- That’s right, you were first introduced in “Let Me Show You”.
Taylor- Yup, back then I was an upcoming senior and now I work in the family business.
Sedona- Congratulations on that! You’re the Amethyst Falls Director of Communications and Relations. Do you mind telling people exactly what that means?
Taylor- Whew, if I had a dollar for everytime someone asked me that. (Taylor laughs) But basically, I’m in charged of everything media that comes to the Jags, far as running the social media accounts, doing the press releases, sometimes helping our graphic designer out with creating the social media ads and reels, and coming up with ideas with the team photographer and graphic designer,
Sedona- So many hats for that one position.
Taylor- It is, but I love my job and the pay is amazing so I can’t complain too much.
Sedona- Is that because of who the owner is for the Jags?
Taylor- Even though my father is the owner, he still treats me like a regular employee. Plus, if he wouldn’t, I wouldn’t have taken the job.
Sedona- I respect that big time. So, let’s go back to the last time we read about you.
(Taylor shifts in her seat.)- Ok.
Sedona- In Let Me Show You. You were still lovesick of a guy, is that still going on?
Taylor- Well, even though me and that dude broke up two years prior, I still have feelings for him and I moved on with someone else after the book ended, however that was a huge mistake.
Sedona- Care to expand on that?
Taylor- Not really. Your readers can find out for themselves.
Sedona- Ok then. So, as you know I saw the draft and with you handling the Jags social media accounts, I’m pretty sure you know what I’m going to ask.
Taylor- Bakari Wyatt?
Sedona- Yes ma’am.
Taylor- As everyone in the world saw, he confessed his love to someone but I don’t know who.
Sedona- You sure about that?
(Taylor looks at Sedona with a raised brow) Taylor- What do you mean?
Sedona- Well, Bakari was in my office on Monday and I asked about you two dating and he told me that you guys did.
Taylor- (A slight smile appears on her face before it quickly goes away)
Well, Sedona I’m gonna be heading out. It was good seeing you girl! (Taylor grabs her things and hurriedly leaves Sedona’s office.)
Sedona- Well damn.
